Vegetable Crackers with Chilli, Garlic & Ginger

Vegetable Crackers with Chilli, Garlic & Ginger

Tension in this box is understandable. Three contenders vie for superemacy. Hot and spiteful chillies think they've got it taped. Charming chilled ginger and mellow aromatic pan-roasted garlic have a hand on the belt too.

Will the battle be settled in the first mouthful? Sneaky chillies...always throw the last punch!

Try not to gobble them, share them nicely, with a glass of wine... or two!

Serving Suggestions:

Simply munch with slices of good old fashioned cheddar or warm yourself up on a winter's evening, munching these and glugging down with an ice cold beer!

These chilli biscuits are good on their own or dip into some mango chutney and finely chopped  fresh apple.

Use instead of Papadom as a starter with a curry.

Use as part of a dish with a curry chutney or pickle

Pair with hummus, charcuterie, pate and game terrine, vegetable spreads, yoghurt dips, fresh soft cheeses. Just about anything you fancy really!

Serve on a cheese board with soft young runny cheeses, naughty demanding blues, good old-aged cheddar and a silly pointy knife. Five very good reasons to get the port out.
